NFL Pros -The alumnus of the Frankford Chargers have been achieving many feats these past 5 years. Last year, Shareef Miller was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 4th round. This is our 3rd player in 4 years that lives in Frankford and played for the Chargers that will play in the NFL. Zaire "Bam" Anderson was the first. He played for Denver Broncos and won a ring in Superbowl 50. Will Fuller was drafted in 1st round of 2016 NFL draft by the Houston Texan, and last year Shareef Miller was drafted by our hometown Philadelphia Eagles. Congratulations fellows.
We had Tyree Tucker playing basketball professionally overseas
and will have more Chargers realizing their dreams of playing professional basketball in the future.
In 2019, Nafeei Minor joined fellow Chargers alumnus Kal'el Williams at Charleston University in West Virginia playing college football. Mike Statham Jr. signed to play for University of Pitt in the Fall 2020.
Future College kids
Even during Covid-19, 2020 has been an successful year for Chargers alumnus. Mikai Gbayor signed to play football at Nebraska, Rahsool Diggins signed to play basketball at UConn and Elijah "EJ" Statham is joining his brother and playing football at Pitt.
Beside athletics, we have many alumnus who are doctors, lawyers, accountants, teachers, nurses, and entrepreneur to name a few worthy professions.
We wish our athletes continued success in all of their future endeavors.
